Maryville has exceeded the national rate of COVID-19 adoption, according to a Centers for Disease Control (CDC) report issued on February 1. According to the CDC report, 77.8% of residents and 37.5% of staff at skilled nursing facilities have elected to receive the vaccine nationally. However, at Maryville, 86.7% of residents and 77.48% of staff have received the vaccine. This is an excellent rate of vaccine adoption and is a crucial step in slowing and stopping the spread of the virus in our community and protecting vulnerable populations.
